Overview

Romance Ideas ("the App," "we," "us") is designed to help users incorporate spontaneous, low-cost romantic gestures into their relationships. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Device Identifier. When you first open the App, a random identifier is generated and stored securely on your device. This identifier is used to associate your idea history and subscription status with your device. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying account information.

Push Notification Token. If you allow notifications, Apple assigns your device a push token, which we store so we can deliver notifications when a new romantic idea is ready for you (approximately every 3–8 days).

Idea History. We store the romantic ideas that have been sent to your device and whether you marked each one as completed or skipped. This history is used solely to avoid repeating the same idea to you twice, and to track your progress within the App.

Subscription Status. If you subscribe to continued access beyond the free ideas, your subscription status is managed and verified through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple but do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information — that information is held exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's own privacy practices.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, photos, location, or browsing activity. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to:

• Deliver a new romantic idea to your device on the intended schedule
• Avoid repeating ideas you've already received
• Determine whether you have access to continued ideas beyond the free tier
• Send push notifications when a new idea is ready

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to function:

• OpenAI — used to generate the text of romantic idea suggestions. No personal information about you is sent to OpenAI as part of this process.
• Apple (Push Notifications, In-App Purchase) — used to deliver notifications and to process and verify subscriptions, governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Data Retention

Your device identifier and idea history are retained for as long as you use the App. If you delete the App, your locally stored device identifier is removed from your device; associated server-side records may persist unless you contact us to request deletion (see below).

Your Choices

• Notifications can be disabled at any time in your device's Settings.
• Subscription cancellation is managed through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions), consistent with all Apple In-App Purchase subscriptions.
• Data deletion requests can be made by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
